The next stop on our North India adventure was the fabulous state of Rajasthan. We took a train ride from Agra to the city of Jaipur. Unfortunately, after we arrived in Jaipur, Mandi came down with some sort of stomach bug and spent a couple of days just resting in the hotel.

Rajasthan is known for its fabulous colorful textiles. Here is a shot of the fabrics in a Jaipur market. The colors are so vibrant and grand! The people look just as vibrant when wearing these things!
Here is a picture of the Water Palace, an old palace in a lake outside the city.
One of the major attractions in Jaipur is the Amber Fort.
