So you want to visit us... Here's when to do it

We will be living in Bangalore, which has a relatively moderate climate for India (probably being situated at 3000 ft has something to do with this).  If you are planning to visit us while we are in Bangalore, with the exception of Monsoon Season, most any time will provide you with weather that is not too unpleasant.  If you are interested in also touring around other parts of India, you may want to avoid the Hot Season as well (for example, Agra where the Taj Mahal is could well be 110 degrees Fahrenheit in May).

Generally, the best times to visit India are in the Cool Season which lasts from October to February.  March through June is the Hot Season where temperatures in some areas of the country exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit (luckily Bangalore does not get quite this hot).  July through September is the Monsoon Season, so if this is when you are planning on visiting, make sure to pack an umbrella!
